We came to Fort Dodge for a baby. The hotel staff placed a big basket of gift for our baby as a welcome gift. The staff makes us feel so appreciated and warm and welcome! This is a once in a lifetime experience. We really thank you from the bottom of our hearts. In addition, the room has great space. The amenity is also in new and great condition. It is also quiet in our room.
Dawn at the front desk took unbelievable care of us. She noticed a colleague and I were working late and checked in on us several times to see if we needed anything. She even made us popcorn since she could tell we had a long night ahead of us. It was a small act but made us feel right at home after a couple very busy and stressful weeks. We have several more trips here in the future and plan to make a point of coming to this hotel because of Dawn!
Prime location with restaurant access. Must stay for buniess travel in the area. Stones throw away from the local fedex station. I know its more than twice as much as anything else in the area, but I promise you, you are not that cheap. If you want to relax in a level of comfort even remotely close to home, unless that home is a third world country, stay here. You'll regret it otherwise.
This is a very nice hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient. They have a nice full breakfast. Although I didn't get to use the exercise room, it had lots of options. Pool looked nice, too. It is always nice to be welcomed by fruit, cookies and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate when you arrive in the evening. My only tiny drawback was that although the cookies were fresh, the evening cinnamon rolls needed the coffee accompaniment. A tad dried out from the morning.
Front desk staff was cordial, and not fake about it either. Arrived ahead of an early spring winter blizzard. Even though the hotel lost power as did most of the local community, staff did their best to accommodate the guests as best they could
Very clean! Staff were great. Continental breakfast was hot and tasty. Breakfast attendant was friendly, helpful and kept everything clean, hot and fresh.
This hotel is wonderful to stay in. Comfy beds and exceptionally clean. The manager, Dee, was sweet and very helpful.
My family and I have stayed here 5 times or so in the past 3 or so years and each time we've stayed it has been clean, welcoming and affordable. The breakfast area is clean and they keep the food well stocked. The staff are nice and even let our extended family use their conference room when available. 10/10 each time my family stays here.
